Through training, resources, and guidance, the Stewardship Ministries Department works to “invite members to trust God as the owner and provider and to partner in His final mission through regular and systematic giving.”

Our Proposed Goal
Each year, an additional two percent of the local church membership, at the start of the year, is participating in tithing and regular and systematic offerings.

Spiritual Empowerment.
Stewardship leaders assist local churches to nurture members spiritually, with a focus on the God-First principle, through home visitations, weekly offertory devotionals, regular stewardship sermons, annual commitment ceremonies, and other relevant activities.
Stewardship Education for All.
Stewardship leaders assist local churches to actively train all members—including prospective ones—in regular and systematic giving, as well as their responsibility to support both local and global missions equitably. Together, they educate members and the broader community on managing personal finances, building wealth, and other related topics.
Building Trust and Confidence
Stewardship leaders encourage and work together with the leadership of the church to establish an internal control system, comply with the Use of Tithe guidelines, assist in ensuring that regular financial information is provided to all members, and engage in other actions that contribute to building trust.
